Privacy policy
Updated October 10, 2026
Tocavox is a free, non-profit tool for people who can't speak. This page explains what data it uses and why.
What we use
If you sign in with Google we receive your name, email and profile picture; if you sign in with a link, only your email. We send that link through our email provider (Resend). We also keep the phrases you add, your language, the voice you chose and how often you use each phrase, to order them on your screen.
Why
So your phrases are saved and look the same on all your devices, and to keep the service running: we record when you sign in and how many phrases you create and use, to know everything works. We show no ads, we don't sell data and we don't share it with third parties.
Voice
To turn a new phrase into speech, the text of that phrase is sent to our voice provider (ElevenLabs). Your name and email are never sent. The resulting audio is stored without saying who asked for it, so it doesn't have to be generated again.
Visits
We count site visits with our own analytics (Umami, on a LuxIA server). It uses no cookies, doesn't keep your IP address and doesn't know who you are: only how many people come in and which pages they see.
Deleting your account
You can ask us to delete your account and your phrases anytime by writing to tocavox@luxia.us. We do it within 7 days.
Notice
Tocavox is a communication aid, not a medical device. It does not replace care from your doctor or speech therapist. In an emergency, also use your local emergency services.
Who makes it
Tocavox is a non-profit project by LuxIA (luxIA.us).
